HEALTHCARE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LEXCARE) DEPLOYMENT

Lexington Technologies' deployment and training for the LexCare Healthcare Information Management System across selected primary healthcare centers (PHCs) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nasarawa, and Kano states. LexCare, designed to digitize healthcare records and improve data-driven decision-making, was introduced in 12 PHCs during a phased pilot.

Training sessions, conducted over three days in each location, covered system objectives, practical usage, and participant competency building. Equipment, including tablets, laptops, and routers, was distributed to enhance implementation. Observations from the rollout highlighted areas for software updates, additional system requirements, and integration with existing tools like DHIS. Further adjustments are ongoing to address feedback and ensure effective utilization of LexCare in healthcare facilities.
