The Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading (NBET) Executive Leadership Study Tour on Power Sector Market Growth and Strategic Development was submitted on December 9th, 2021, to the Managing Director/CEO of NBET.

Lexington Technologies facilitated the program, conducted by Energy UK in London from November 15–26, 2021. It aimed to enhance executive understanding of electricity market dynamics, policy frameworks, and strategic reforms, leveraging the UK's energy sector expertise. Training modules covered market operations, energy trading post-Brexit, and cross-border dynamics. Despite challenges like COVID-19 restrictions affecting site visits, the program successfully provided actionable insights for policy reform and market development in Nigeria's power sector. Recommendations included further engagement with OFGEM and technical training for NBET staff.
